We covered a variety of topics, from my recovery from dental surgery to his worries about the future of our country and our economy. An infection developed, and it took a week of antibiotics and meticulous care to get over that. Last year, I completed my first novel--a -page fictionalaccount of one man's personal journey of discovery in which hecontemplates the meaning of life and death. Writing this bookwas both a therapeutic exercise for me--allowing me to exploremy own questions and thoughts on the subject matter--plus a bitof a business venture.
